एक दूसरे पे पत्थर फेंकने का अंधविश्वास

       सवार गाव और पंडोना गाव के बीच में नदी किनारे पे एक अंधविश्वास की प्रथा के कारण सर साल कई लोग घायल होती है .

ये परम्परा सालो से चली आ रही है.
       इस परंपरा में सर साल दोनों गाव अपने किनारो पर पत्थर इक्क्ठा कर लेते है. फिर दोनों गाव एक दूसरे पर पत्थर फेंखते है |

इस परम्परा मैं अभी तक १३ लोगो की मृत्यु हो चुकी है | और हज़ारो लोग घायल हो चुके है.

प्रसासन ने कई बार इस परम्परा को बंद करने की कोशिश की , परन्तु वहा के लोग के विरोध में आ गए |

    इस खतरनाक मेने का नाम गोटमार मेला है . इस मेले मैं एक गाव के लोग  नदी के किनारे एक वृक्ष रख देते है.
और दूसरे गाव के लोग उसे ले जाने की कोशिश करते है. और पत्थर बाज़ी शुरू हो जाती है |

Federer beats Matosevic to enter second round of US Open

Roger Federer launched his bid for an 18th grand slam title with a workmanlike 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (4) win over Marinko Matosevic to ease into the second round of the US Open on Tuesday.

A five-time US Open champion, Federer never appeared threatened by Matosevic but the 76th ranked Australian still forced the Swiss maestro to work up a sweat in front of a center court crowd that included basketball great Michael Jordan.

Dressed all in black, Federer broke his opponent once in each set but in the third Matosevic finally broke back forcing it to a tie-break, which the third seeded Swiss won 7-4 by clinching the final three points.

Federer will next meet another Australian Sam Groth, who was a 6-3, 7-6 (5), 6-3 winner over Spain's Albert Ramos-Vinolas.

Cricket face-off! Sprint king Usain Bolt challenges Yuvraj Singh

Jamaican sprint superstar Usain Bolt will make his maiden visit to India early next month, not to race but to compete in a cricket face-off against India discard Yuvraj Singh here.

Both the Puma ambassadors are coming together for the event on September 2, organised by the sportswear giants at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. "Puma brings Usain Bolt down for a one-of-a-kind cricket face-off between two sporting legends. For the first time ever, watch the Fastest Man on Earth -- Usain Bolt, challenge Yuvraj Singh to an exclusive cricket showdown at Chinnaswamy Stadium on September 2," said a media release issued today.

The face-off has been titled 'Bolt and Yuvi - Battle of the Legends'. The 28-year-old sprint superstar from Jamaica, a multiple Olympic and world champion, is an ardent cricket lover and had expressed his desire in the past to play in the Indian Premier League as a fast bowler.

Bolt ran his season ending race three days ago in Warsaw, Poland by clocking a new world indoor best time of 9.98 secs to win the 100m race in the 5th Warszawski Memorial Kamili Skolimowskie. The time, clocked in the main football stadium under a closed roof, bettered the previous mark of 10.05 secs of Frankie Fredricks.

Bolt had recently revealed that he will put back his planned retirement until 2017 at the request of his sponsors. The six-time Olympic gold medallist and 100m and 200m world record holder had earlier intended to retire from the track after the 2016 Rio Olympics. It was learnt that Athletics Federation of India has no role in Bolt's maiden visit to the country.

"We have no role in Bolt's visit to India. He is a PUMA ambassador, so too Yuvraj," an AFI official said. Left-handed flashy all-rounder Yuvraj was awarded the Man of the Series trophy in India's triumph in the 50-over World Cup in 2011.
